Got a bumper issue of What I've Been Making this week! First off I made this Mutant Cactus, he's (they're) number 105 :) The tall thin guy has a special eye and is crying, bless him! I'm gonna keep this one me thinks :)
This guy is the very first Morris Mouth I made. He lives with me :)
Another Mini Pillow Pal, this time for the craft fair I am taking part in in Southend on May 1st. While I'm in Southend I'm gonna get more of them cool buttons I use for their eyes, they're fab!
This is Lulu, my new doll pattern :) She's got a big head and a tiny body, and curley hair. I made the hair by cutting the yarn into little strips, then seperating it. The result is thin, curley hair! Pattern to follow...
I made these 2 for a fellow DA member last week, was nice to make a turtle again, haven't made one in ages!
And last but not least, an Alien Bunny in a yellow hoodie lol! I made him for my swap partner in the Amigurumi Addiction 2 Swap over on Craftster. He is made of baby dk yarn and the hoddie is made of Supersoft Aran, the same stuff the Mini Pillow Pals are made of. He also has wire in his arms and legs, so he is posable. My partner loved him!
Wow, alot of stuff! I'm still really busy with it all, was up until 3am last night crocheting. And I still have to post pictures of my girl Zoe, but we haven't had an oppertunity for a proper photo shoot yet. She got a mini guitar yesterday! It's a flying V! Weeeee!!
Hope everyones having a great weekend! :D
Lulu looks Blythe inspired. ;]

ReplyDeleteBusy week then?! Love them all, Lulu and Morris Mouth are just fabulous :-)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I love Lulu and the bunny (I love them all) Where in Southend do you get the eyes? I was there last week hoping to stock up on supplies and wasn't impressed by the crafty shops :-(
ReplyDelete(some of my family still live nearby - I visit my Essex roots as often as I can!!)
Thank you all! :D I'm really glad you like them!! :D
ReplyDeleteMonkey - I can't remember what the shop is called, but it's a yarn shop just off the highstreet. As you are facing down the highstreet towards the sea front is to the right, I think it's the side street near the Orange shop? :S But I know you can buy them buttons on Ebay too http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-Spotty-Polka-Dot-Buttons-15mm-Choice-colours-/250801301609?pt=UK_Crafts_Buttons_EH&var=&hash=item8010414b27 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12-Spotty-Dotty-Star-Buttons-Assort-Colours-18mm-/250801789557?pt=UK_Crafts_Buttons_EH&hash=item3a64f39a75 :D
She's adorable! I can't wait for the Lulu pattern!
ReplyDeleteMmm, buttons.
You should stuff some of the Pillow Pals with potpourri. I know lavender is supposed to be good to smell for migraineurs. I plan on harvesting some of my mom's lavender and making a migraine pillow pal. :] And I think it'd be funny since they look so zombie-like for them to smell so good!
Thankies! :D
ReplyDeleteOoo, nice smelling zombies!! That's a great idea, I didn't know lavendar was good for migraines even. Let me know of you make one!
^.^ seems like everything you do is popular Sarah. ^.^ Glad i could contribute to the pile.
ReplyDeleteAawww, Thanks Mika :)
ReplyDeleteNo problem Sarah, i feel almost famous being able to work with you. XD when i get my sewing machine with my tax return i can start making stuff too, maybe we can exchange ideas, since you will knit and design, and i will design and sew. XD
ReplyDeleteSOS! Those are a lot! How long does it take you to make one anyways? Could it be that I'm sooooo slow? Please, do share!
ReplyDeleteMika - Lol! I'm nothing special!! :D A sewing machine will be great, there's sooo much stuff you can make!
ReplyDeleteLa Shika - Thanks! It all depends really, it ranges from about an hour for the cacti to a week for the rabbit :) I have alot of time on my hands...
Love Lulu and Morris! :-)
