I didn't do any crocheting or crafting at all from Monday to Friday last week. It was very boring, but nice to have a rest.
One thing I have been doing is getting to know my Gimp software. I've had it for months now but have never really used it, mainly because I don't know how. But I was bored, and bunged up, so looked for tutorials on YouTube. So, instead of making amigurumi, I've been 'drawing' pictures of them. Here's my vector version of Gibbley :)
Nothing special, just me having a mess about with paths and gradients and such. It's quite addictive! If anyone has any tips for me I would greatly apprecate it!
On Saturday I returned to crochet and got a custom order doll finished, and did a bit of my brothers hat. But since then I have hardly done any crochet or amigurumi. I really can't get back into it :( I've been going through Ravelry for days looking for something to make, and found a cute dinosaur, which I started, but have just abandoned as I just can't be 'bothered'. What's happening to me?! It's left me with nothing to do, as crocheting is all I did. I hope it's just a phase; crocheting made me so happy!
So I might not be around for a while. I'll try to keep this updated with bits and bobs but there won't be much crocheting :( Pray for me!!

I'm glad you're better! I wouldn't worry about the crochet block though. It's probably just a phase. Maybe you should try something a bit different than amigurumi to get you back into the swing of things? I've been playing around with granny squares lately. I never knew there were so many different types and the way you can mix the colors from row to row if fun =P But if you don't feel like crocheting at all, give yourself a break. Your gimp is looking awesome! I have photoshop, and I can't even do that...but that's probably because I'm not that talented in digital art. LOL

Oh No! You're my inspiration to keep on with amigurumi... Never mind - we all need a break now and then - whenever I get fed up with crochet I try something else, it turns out completely pants then I go back to crochet with renewed enthusiasm ;-) Hope you find your crochet mojo soon...

P.S finally finished Gibleys parts, just need to sew him together... in my spare time... loved making him, love the fact that you have such an enormous bonce to play around with - with regards to facial expression etc!!
