This film was released in 1995, but I first saw it about a year and a half ago. Bruce Willis plays James Cole - a reluctant volunteer from the year 2035, when humans live underground because of a virus that wiped out 99% of the Earths population. He is sent back in time to find the cause of the virus, and gets in to all sorts of trouble along the way, including spending some time in a mental hospital with Brad Pitts character Jeffrey Goines, going back to World War I and the final scene in an airport where he runs into himself as a child.

I love this film so much. I like anything that's a bit weird and involves twisted plotlines, and there's plenty of that in this film! Brad Pitt is brilliant as Jeffrey Goines, the leader of a band of animal activists. He plays a mad man really well! Bruce Willis and Madeleine Stowe (who plays Dr. Kathryn Railly) are both fab too.
Some of my other favourite film include:
The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
Girl, Interrupted
Donnie Darko
Interview With The Vampire
Ring Trilogy (Japanese Versions)
Seven
Sleepy Hollow
My favorite movie has to be Sixteen Candles.. Such a great classic, that alway's makes me laugh.. thanks..
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Sixteen Candles - I'm gonna keep a look out for it in HMV!
