Day 03 - Your Favourite Television Program

I'd have to say my favourie TV programme is either:

Red Dwarf

OMG, this was my favourite show growing up, and is still right up there! It's basically a kind of sci-fi comedy about 4 characters being lost in space millions of years in the future, aboard the mining ship Red Dwarf. There's Dave Lister, the last human left in existance; Arnold Rimmer, a hologram of his dead bunk mate; Cat, a creature that evolved from Listers pet cat and Kryten, a service droid they rescued from an abandoned ship, who has a funny shaped head.

I can't stress how much I love this programme. I first saw it when I was about 6 and loved it ever since. I own all 8 series on DVD and have some of the original VHS' hidden away in my wardrobe. They stopped making it ages ago, but it remains a classic.

Heroes

I've loved this programe since it first came out in *thinks* 2006?! At first I wasn't too keen as it is very involved, but I grew to love it. My favourite character is Peter Petrelli, the former hospice nurce who later finds out he has special abilities. I like Sylar too - everyone likes a baddie!

It's gone down hill abit since Season 1, I think. Season 2 was cut short dues to the writters strike, Season 3 was better and this Season, 4, doesn't seem to be as great as the 1st. But I still watch it every week, and buy the DVD box sets when they come out. I wonder if they'll make another Season?

Some of my other favourite TV programmes include:
The Mighty Boosh
Waking The Dead
Peter Kay's Pheonix Night
Silent Witness
Garth Marenghi's Dark Place
South Park
Escape To The Country (lol!)
