3 New Patterns and a Face Lift

I finally got round to uploading my new pictures and banner to my Etsy Shop today. There is a cloud/heavenly theme running through it all - I hope you will like it!

I also uploaded 3 new patterns! We have...

Gibbley - The Monster Under The Bed

Cuddle Monster

Apple In A Suit

I still have the Flumplebee PDF to write out, should be done by Monday. I really hope you like the new patterns - Thank you again to all the people that tested them for me!

I must just say too that I have taken the Uniloomph, Jacob The Jellyfish and Tilly The Turtle pattern down for now. I am still in the middle of re-writing them. They should be back up by Christmas though :)

Hope you like!

Patterns Shake-Up

I'm going to be having a change around in my Etsy shop over the next few months, hopefully completed for New Year.

I'm going to be re-writting my patterns to make them better, and writing some new ones too :D I've already started testing my new monsters, I also have planned:
  • New Teddy
  • New Bunny
  • Pup
  • Flumplebee
  • New Egg Cosy Hats
  • Customizabe Wekeshi Dolls
  • Apples In Suits
  • Improved Kokeshi Doll
... and whatever I can come up with in the next few months :)

Some of the ones I have in my shop already may be scrapped, like the existing teddy and bunny patterns, I'm not sure yet. I'll also be adding some more free patterns to my blog, so keep a look out!

That's all! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! :D

New York and Pattern Writing

It's gonna be difficult getting back into the routine of blogging after doing the 30 Day Meme for a whole month! It was fun to do, but did get abit boring towards the end :)

First off, I hope everyone had a great Easter! We were gonna go to Norfolk over the weekend for the day but the weather was yucky so we didn't. Shame as I love going up there in the car. Instead I stayed at home and did nothing but eat chocolate lol I'm suprised it hasn't given me a headache yet!

I wrote a few new patterns over the last week or so, one for an octopus and one for a new creature I've called The Lesser Spotted Lemmyhog lol! You'll understand when you see her! I started making a hedgehog and it kind of morphed into this thing - I like it! Im hopefuly gonna be putting the pattern for the Octopus up for free on this blog. It's only a small one so I thought it'd be nice to share it.

Also over the weekend my family and I have been looking into going on a short holiday to New York! It would be great to go there! We're looking at different hotels at the moment and trying to get a good price from the travel agents (it's expensive...) but we'll hopefully be going towards the end of the year. Yay! I've heard from my good friend Jill that there are some good yarn shops in New York! Woohoo! I'll come back with a suitcase full of yarn hahaha!

Etsy Friday: HandmadeKitty

This week on Etsy Frieday: Handmade Kitty!

You might remember a few weeks ago in my 'Best Of' Tuesdays I featured the excellent Lucky Cat amigurumi by HandmadeKitty on Craftster. Well, I found out she has a shop where she sells her wonderful ami patterns! Yay! The Lucky Cat is for sale, aswell as these super cute Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls! Such detail! I think I may be buying the Lucky Cat pattern, I really liked it on Craftster and would love to make my own one!

Check out this shop here.
