Road Trip

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Saturday was the usual borning Saturday, but on Sunday I went on a road trip with my Mum and Dad to Norfolk. The day involved visting Hemsby, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Bythburgh. And 2 Little Chefs lol!

We used to go to Hemsby on family hoidays when my brother and I were little. It's a little beach town just past Great Yarmouth, in Norfolk. These are some pics of Hemsby beach - we've spent many happy days at this place!

I bought aload of stuff in Yarmouth, including some bits for my pal Jill (I'm not gonna say what I got though!) and these 2 Kokeshi Dolls...

It was a fun day. Although on the way back we did drive by a nasty car accident. I hope no one was seriously hurt :(

This week - GOT to get back on my diet. In Yarmouth I had some donuts and I feel really bad about it! Gonna be crocheting some more and hopefully putting some pictures up on here of some finished projects, including a sea creature I'm calling a Unioomph. It's a cross between a turtle, jellyfish and a unicorn lmao - you'll know what I mean when you see him! :D

Random Photo No. 2

This is a photo I took of my shadow on the beach at Lowestoft, Suffolk this year.

My Dad collects Chinese porcelain, and there's a place up in Norfolk that sells rare pieces, so one Sunday in May my Mum, Dad and I went on the long trip up there so he could check it out.

On the way back down to Essex we had to drive through the county of Suffolk, so we took a de-tour to Lowestoft, which is one of my fav seaside places. It's a typical seaside town on the east coast of England, complete with all the usual seaside-y stuff like a pier, beach and high street.

It was hot that day, so I said I wouldn't mind a paddle in the sea, so my Mum and I took our shoes off and stepped in. It was really cold, but as it was so warm that Sunday it was a welcome change! I thought it'd be interesting if I took a picture of my shadow in the water, and this is the resulting picture.
