I made this hat for my Blythe Zoe the other evening, whilst bored. I like crocheting little hats when I'm bored as they take no time at all to write and make :) The difference with this pattern is that it's been published over at EssHippo Blythe. I decided to publish it over there instead of here because it is basically a Blythe pattern, and this is more of an amigurumi blog :)
Zombie Bunny also features in the new banner *points above*. I hope you like the changes I made to the blog - I felt it was time for a change :)
Anyways, if you'd like to make a Zombie Bunny Hat for your girl, or for any of your ami's for that matter, head on over to EssHippo!
(Shameless plugging, I know. But what's the point of having your own blog if you can't plug something every now and again?!)
I like your site changes as green is teh awesome. X3
ReplyDeleteHaha, Thanks Mika! :p
ReplyDeleteaw i should make one for my pullips (i think their heads are about the same size)
ReplyDeletesuper cute & love her glasses too :)
Aww Thanks Sarah! :D
ReplyDeleteBlythe heads are pretty big - if the pattern works out too big you could swap the Aran yarn for DK, I reckon :)
Hi Sarah, I've just been looking at your super stuff, which I stumbled upon quite by chance. I am organising a Vintage and Homemade Fair in Thorpe Bay in a lovely Deco village hall (St Augustine's) on 6th November and wondered if you'd be interested in a stall for £20?
ReplyDeleteI've got a wide selection of wares on offer from people selling vintage clothes and accessories to 50s frocks made from vintage patterns, 40s hats, cool crocheted bags and cushions, 20th Century Collectibles, kitsch christmas decs, vintage 'reblinged' jewels and retro cakes and lots, lots more...we also have a 'pop-up' Wartime café for everybody's tea and cake needs - hopefully it will be a beautiful and highly enjoyable do.
The fair runs from 11 to 4 on Sunday 6th November, and if you'll pass me your email address I'll send you a rather gorgeous poster.
I plan to make this a regular event - it's a great location in an interesting and affluent area - and I'm advertising my socks off (including in the diner in Southend, in Mollie Makes magazine, local papers, coffee shop etc, as well as my large contact list of vintage-loving folk.)
I would be delighted if you'd come along, in whatever capacity, as I think your super-style would be a great addition to the fair.
Please contact Caroline at dottysparkle@gmail.com or 07973787655.
Best, Caroline
Hi Caroline, Thank you so much for the invitation, I am really happy you like my stuff!! I would love to take part in the fair, but unfortunatly I wouldn't be able to make up enough stock in time for November. Thank you once again for the offer though! Take care,Sarah -x-
