Diet

I usually don't make New Years resolutions, but this year I did - to loose weight.

I lost a bit of weight early least year - mainly because I've been told I have high cholesterol so I cut out a loud of fat from my diet. But I've put the weight back on over the last few months and it was getting a bit depressing over Christmas, so I decided to go on a 'diet' from 1st January.

It's been tough this week - there's still chocolates left over from Christmas and stuff, and I'm addicted to Coka-Cola, which has also been dropped. And tonight my family are having take away! What do I do?! It's soooo tempting, but I have to think about the diet. T'is cruel!

As part of my weight lose thing I've been after a Wii Fit Plus. Can I find one? No. All the shops in Basildon are sold out. They keep saying they'll have more in 'within a few days' but they never do. I looked on Ebay but they're so expensive. So at the moment I'm doing alot of walking. Even when it's snowing I can have a walk as we have a walking machine at home. Handy.

So that's what I've been up to mainly. I'll let you know how it goes (and whether or not I have that take away...)

  1. Dont have the takeaway!! I know how hard it is I am on weight watchers and sometimes it makes me positively miserable watching everyone else munch on your favourite goodies!! Keep up the good work :-) xx

  3. I'm awful at excercise! I bought a pilaties 10 min a day dvd and did it once and was like yeah I can do 10 mins a day! That was the one only time I did it! Bah!

Good luck and hope you do well! I entirely agree with Chelsuba, if you just can't resist the take away (which should always be your first attempt) then go for something smaller or slightly healthier... we always try to do things like boiled rice rather than fried rice etc.

I did have the take away in the end I'm afraid - but instead of chip shop I had Chinese. With boiled rice ;)

  6. Takeaway = they just take all the good foodins? Like cold turkey? Mmm, not fun. I'd recommend going down slowly, but it's too late. Good luck!
