FAQ's

How Long Have You Been Crocheting For? I've been crocheting properly for about 2 years now, but did dabble in it when I was a kid - making super long chains was all I could do!

How Did You Learn To Crochet Properly? I taught myself the basics of crocheting from videos on YouTube, and sites like Craftster.org and Nexstitch.com. Alot of it was just learning as I went along, picking up new stitches as and when I needed them.

What Are Your Favourite Things To Make? Definitely amigurumi - I love making up my own creatures and patterns. I do like other crochet work too though, and have been known to make a granny square blanket or two.

Do You Sell Your Stuff? Where? I have an Etsy Shop  where I sell patterns and ami's, plus I also do local craft fairs around Essex and London.

Can You Make Me A Monstie/Eggbert/Flumplebee? Yes - I love custom orders! If you'd like me to make you something please see my Custom Orders page for details.

What Yarn Do You Use? Where Do You Buy it?! I use mainly Double Knit acrylic yarn - you know - the cheap stuff! I like the feel of it and there are many different colours. I use mainly Yarnfair, Woolcraft, Robin and Hayfield. I buy it from where I live in Basildon, and nearby Southend, but the make of yarn I use can also be bought from Ebay.co.uk.

What Else Do You Like Doing, Apart From Crocheting? I love music and going to concerts. I try to pack several in a year - I can't get enough! I enjoy TV programmes like Red Dwarf, Heroes and Supernatural. I like all things to do with Japan and Japanese culture, and am addicted to Asian horror films! I also love reading, long car journeys and looking after my pets. And sleeping. Lots of sleeping.
