New Feature: Etsy Friday!

Decided to add a new feature to my blog: Etsy Friday!

Every Friday I will feature one of my favourite Etsy shops/sellers in this blog. I'm a seller myself, so I know how much time, effort and energy goes into creating items and keeping a shop.

My first featured shop is Cute Creations by Keitosan.

They sell Japanese Inspired Gifts, including kawaii jewellery, fabric, amigurumi and accessories. I love this Rotten Tooth Ring!

Check out their Etsy Shop, or their website, http://www.cutecreations.co.uk/.

LV Partners and Jellyfish Testers

The partners were announced for the LV Swap today; Eddie's going to America!! He's mega excited, he's going to be sent off tomorrow! Here he is getting ready for his long journey!

I'm hosting Walter the dinosaur for the summer! He's lovely! We're gonna have lots of fun; including my hoilday to Cyprus!

Two testers have finished testing my jellyfish pattern; they're both excellent!! We've had Gimpy from CrazyCristyC, and Rupert from MissFlynn, which you can see here.

Big Thanks to them both for testing it for me, and to all the testers! It's really helping me out!

Little Visitor Finished!

I finished my stuffie for the Little Visitor swap on Craftster! I decided on bright orange in the end, and called him Eddie!

Eddie is very happy go lucky, loves grapes, hates cheese and is addicted to watching Heroes!

We haven't got our partners yet for the swap, but when I send him off I've made a little book with all his likes and dislikes in it, and a history of The Eggberts! I hope my swap partner will love him, and I look forward to getting my LV!!

Organized Swaps

I'm taking part in my first organized swap on Craftster! Yay!

I'm doing the Little Visitor Round 10 Swap, where you send a little toy to your partner, they send one to you, and you look after it for the summer! Then you send him/her back with lots of goodies from the trip! I'm v. excited to be taking part; I've wanted to do a swap for ages lol!

All I need to do now if make the Little Visitor I'm sending out. Think I'm gonna send one of my trademark Eggberts. Either blue, orange or green.... hhhmmmm. Decisions, decisions! I'll post a pic when I've finished him!

Testers Found!

I've found 5 lovely people that are willing to test the Jellyfish pattern, so I now have enough testers! Thanks to all of them!! *hugs*

Testers Needed!

I made this amigurumi jellyfish recently from scratch, I'm pretty happy with it but now I need to test it out! This is the first time I've written out a pattern for others to follow, so I'm new to all this!

I'm looking for a few testers with a fair amount of knowledge of crochet/amigurumi (involves sc and dc stitches), to be completed in 2 weeks. He measures approx. 8'' tall when using a 3.5mm hook, and took me about 2 hours to complete. If you're interested in being a tester please reply here and I will send you the instructions!

Thank You!

Sarah

Long Time No See

Haven't updated in a while, been busy lol!

Since I updated last I've be making loads of stuff for my table at the Craft Fair I'm taking part in in December. Mostly amigurumi stuff but also sock monkeys.

I've also learnt how to do Tunisian Crochet! It's fun; v. different from normal crocheting which is nice for a change! I also taught my Mum how to Tunisian crochet lol!

Went to see Hot Leg in March at Islington Academy; was great! We met the band and everything! Also saw Russell Brand at the O2 in London the other week, was fab! He's so funny! They were filming a DVD and also a part for his new film; so we're gonna be movie extras lol!

I still haven't got round to doing any tuts on here have I; I'll try and get round to it this weekend for you :o)
