Coasters and Heroes...

I've been busy over the weekend making new hama bead coasters for my shop, and today I listed the new Super Mario Mushroom ones. You can find them here:

Available as single coasters, or as many as you like! Just convo me! Choose from 8 different colours, too :D

Also tonight the 4th Volume of Heroes starts, Yay! I love Heroes! I think my fav. character is either Peter or Sylar (eveyone loves a baddie, don't they lol!). I've got my ideas as to what's gonna happen in V4; for a start I doubt Sylar's dead. I reckon Angela Petrelli pulled that bit of glass out of his head, and he got out of the Primatech building before it burnt down. Plus I've heard that in this volume all the heroes are on the run, thanks to Nathan and his big gob at the end of V3. Naughty boy!!

But yeah, it starts in about 30 mins, so I'm gonna go and get a glass of coke and some chocolate and sit down to watch it. My life if so exciting lol!!

Cyprus

I haven't been on holiday in years due to this and that, so when we booked our hoilday to Cyprus at the weekend I was very excited! And still am!!

I've been to Cyprus twice before. It's a lovely place, the people are really nice and even though the temperature is very high, it's not uncomfortable (which is good for me as I hate being hot!).

We'll be staying in Latchi, which is on the west side of the island. Never been there before; we usually stay in Protaras, but decided not to this time as apparently it's become very built up. We wanted a chill out holiday away from the crowds, and Latchi looks perfect. We go in July this year :o) Suitcase-shopping it is, then!

Been adding more items to my shop, and will be doing so again later today. I have about 10 jewellery items to list yet. I also plan to have more Hama bead coasters made this week. Another set of 4 mushroom ones and hopefully some single ones too, including Domo, Hello Kitty and kawaii cupcakes! I'll let you know when they're listed :o)

First Etsy Sale!!

Very happy today - I checked my emails and I had an email from Etsy saying I'd sold my first item!! The Super Mario Coasters are going to a person in New York! I relisted them yesterday, and got a sale from it. I might relist more often if a sale is the result! Gonna get them posted off asap now, and make some more.

I'm also in the process of making some new keyrings and necklaces for my shop - including lots of Hello Kitty stuff, Power Puff Girls, Pokemon and things like that. Should be listing them this week!

In other news - the snow in my part of the county has dissapeared. There's been snow elsewhere in the country but not here. That's dissapointed my Dad....

Grinding Halt

It's funny, for a country world famous for being cold, wet and rainy, us here in England can't even cope with a bit of snow.

Yeah, apparently it's the worst snow in 18 years, but to tell you the truth it doesn't seem like it. I've known worst! Here it's not even covering my shoes! Yet the country is in complete chaos; the schools are still shut, transport's going mad, people not going into work... I could go on!

I heard earlier on the news that other countries news programmes have been taking the micky out of us, saying 'Britain's come to a hault over 6'' of snow'. It's not even 6'' lol!! I'd be laughing at us too! In fact I am - this happens every time it snows, no matter how bad. Or not so bad, as the case seems...

Chilly, Chilly, Chilly!

Hiya, hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Well, I finished Chilly! There he is on the right! Out of everything, the hat took the longest to crochet! I had to keep un-doing it as I kept going wrong!

Also the weather's chilly here to at the mo. It snowed bigtime yesterday, which is rare in this part of Essex! I sometimes think we live under some sort of dome - it snows everywhere around us but not here! But the dome was lifted yesterday and we now have several cm's worth of snow. I ain't been out in it yet - but my Mum and Dad have. My Dad loves the stuff, he's like a big kid! He's 50-something lol!

Plans for this week - I want to get one of my crochet patterns up on here one day. It will either be a crochet flower brooch I made up a pattern for or an arm cuff I wrote last night whilst watching a Russell Brand DVD. I've never written patterns for others to follow before, so I hope they'll be understandable! Probably won't be...
